Even though is seems that our two polical parties seem to be very partisan in their views, I think we would all agree that there is not place on earth we would rather be from than the grand old USA.
Even though we have certainly had our share of disagreements and problems - with terrorism, resulting in a terrible war, especially over the last 4-5 years, and more recently with natural disasters, we still have so much for which to be thankful.
We had a great outpouring of patriotism after 9/11. We couldn’t get enough of the grand ole flag. Now with all the disagreements in how our nation is being run, it’s a shame to see so much dissention.
The outppouring of love and support after the recent hurricanes, shows that we still have a heart of generosity toward our fellowman no matter how different we might be. It’s a shame, though, that it takes a tragedy to pull us all together.
