I know that it’s just April, but you would be surprised at how many Christmas card orders we already have received not to mention catalog and sample requests. It is a bit early to start ordering Christmas cards, since most are not in stock yet and some we won’t even know for a few months if they are returning this year. However, it’s not too early to start thinking about your Christmas card mailing list.

Who all will you be sending business Christmas cards to? How about personal Christmas cards? If you are in business, it would be good idea over the next couple of months to go over an old list if you have one of your customers and clients to be sure to add new ones to your list and delete any names with which you are not wanting to keep in touch.

Be sure to think of prospective clients as well. If you are courting a client, what better way to promote good will than to send a beautiful corporate Christmas card with a thoughtful sentiment. Keep this list handy so you can keep tweaking it as the weeks get closer to when you will actually be sending your Christmas greetings.

On a personal level, make sure you look over your list from last year as well as the Christmas cards you received last year. Do you need to add or delete anyone from your list? It’s really best to do this now, or at least pretty soon before things get really busy wih other holiday planning and acitivites. You have a lot more time now than you will later on, and won’t it feel good to be organized and ready!
