Addressing Business Christmas cards
Even though you may have taken the time to include a
personal note and/or sign your Business Christmas cards, don’t stop there with
the personalized touch. Just as important, you should hand address each
envelope with the recepient’s address. Of course this is a task that could be
delegated to someone else who has more time, but make sure that they have
decent handwriting.
You can even divide up your list among several associates to get your Christmas
cards stuffed and envelopes addressed. This is not a time to use address
labels. That would make it look too business like and gives the impression of
being a mass mailing when this is one time you want to be sure that your correspondence
looks more personal.
Always use titles when addressing your Christmas card envelopes, like Mr. or
Mrs. or Dr. Don’t use professional initials however like M.D. or Ph.D.
As for your return address, spend a few extra dollars to have it printed on
the envelope when you order your Christmas cards. It’s inexpensive and looks so
much more professional than sticking on labels or handwriting it - and who has
time for that!?
If you order your Christmas cards from us before the end of September, we offer
free envelope imprinting.
