A Tip To Making Your Adventuresome Photo Christmas Cards Look Real - Jungle Themed
This past week my family and I have been filming and piecing together a short 2 minute film for a video competition to win a trip half way around the world. My son, having caught the Indiana Jones bug, wants to do an Indiana Jones theme. As we’ve been filming I’ve discovered some things that will be very useful to anyone wanted to create adventuresome photo Christmas cards.
First and foremost…you can make just about any scene look like the real deal by capturing just a small area in the lens. For example; when we were filming at the zoo there was tropical looking area that had many birds flying free. The only problem was that there were signs of civilization everywhere. We wanted it to look real, so instead of filming a large area that would have shown food dishes, lights, etc., we were able to capture my son at just the right angle, only showing a small area. And by golly, it looks like he’s a miniature version of Indiana Jones in the jungle.
Nearby we also have a restaurant called The Mayan. On the outside it looks like a Mayan temple. On the inside it looks like the rainforest. Once again, if you only film a small area and get the right camera angle, you can make it look like you’re really in a rainforest or at a Mayan temple.
Now that you’ve read this, think about what’s around you and go experiment.
