Affiliate Marketing on Your Photo Christmas Cards
What do you think about this? I’m at a conference now for CJU - Commission Junction - and am learning tons about affiliate marketing. One of the things the keynote speaker talked about a lot today was content maketing. What I got out of this was that you can tie businesses in to the content you provide to your target audience.
Go with me on this: let’s say your photo Christmas cards for this upcoming year had pictures of you working on your new house. You could have an small website address on the photo Christmas card that is a landing page to a website you’ve created that markets a special on Home Depot products. I know, stretching the creativity a bit but it could actually make your photo Christmas cards “profitable” for everyone - the receivers of your cards could save money on products from Home Depot and at the same time, you could make a commission on products purchased.
My cousin, an avid affiliate marketer, actually has done this indirectly. He sent all his family and friends an email prior to the Christmas season and said something like “Save on your Christmas purchases from these companies…” All the email included was some of his affiliate advertiser links. Crazy but true. Give it a try on this years cards.
