The other day I ran into a lady who bought a cute pink doggie ski jacket for her cat to wear. This cat is apparently an indoor only cat but gets cold very easily. As it turns out the jacket was too small for the cat. When it was zipped up the poor little cat couldn’t even move. She said it reminded her of the little kid on The Christmas Story who was so bundled up, he couldn’t move. I asked her “did you make sure to get a picture?” Sure enough she had. I thought that would be a great idea for her next years photo Christmas cards.

Speaking of cats and photo Christmas cards…
We often hear of those unusual stories where another animal nurses the baby a completely different species. There’s the dogs nursing the kittens, or the cats nursing the pups. What about the lion who adopted a deer and is nursing it?! The deer is actually drinking lions milk!

Well this year someone decided to send photo Christmas cards of their cat, kittens and baby rabbits. The mother rabbit rejected three of her babies for some reason. So the owners had to quickly find people who had a lactating rabbit that would nurse these babies. Well, they didn’t find another rabbit, but they did find this family whose nursing cat had just enough nipples available. So the photo Christmas cards were of the mother cat and all the kittens and bunnies lined up feeding.
