Editing Photo Christmas Cards

What do you think about this idea?  We took family pictures recently for our future photo Christmas cards; what an “interesting” experience.  A two year old and a three month old don’t make it exactly easy for anyone.

The tough thing was some of the pictures we took were perfect of my three month old daughter but our two year old was looking in to space.  Then, when the two year old decided to cooperate, the three month old began to cry.  Never, not one time, did the two of them form an alliance for the photographer.

So, we’ve discussed doing a little photo shop editing: cut one of the best pictures of our three month old and paste it in with the best picture of our two year old.  We think this would make ideal photo Christmas cards.  What do you think?

Another challenge was in a few of the pictures I really like had dark shadows in certain sections.  Couldn’t a little photo editing solve that problem?  Or is it vain to try to spice up a photo Christmas card?  Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with it.
