So, my sister-in-law is getting married to a basketball star who plays in Sicily, Italy.  I know, tough life.  Yesterday I talked about combining her wedding invitation with her photo Christmas cards; as I thought about it, the cards should definitely have an Italian theme.

It could be great - a “Leaning Tower of Piza” pose, a Venice Vacation, a Rome Colesium portrait.  There are so many historic places to take pictures in Italy.  It could be one of the best and most memorable photo Christmas cards in her family history.

The big drama with the whole marriage is that she’s thinking about just getting married when she goes to visit in about a month.  This would mean no parents, no family support, nothing - just a romantic ceremony under the Italian sun.  Her mom would go crazy!

Yes, this is the same mother-in-law that didn’t include her in-laws in their recent family photo.  I’m sure a marriage without her there to direct traffic would not be pretty for anyone in our family.  But hey, she’d probably get a great photo Christmas card on her refrigerator!
