Design Crafters

The parade ended and I headed to work for a few hours of unfocused nothingness. Yes, I worked on our anniversary but it was definitely not the top thing on my list of “to-do’s”. After a few short hours, my spouse and I met at one of our favorite restaurants, Macaroni Grill, for a nice lunch. We actually took a few pictures, and, you know me, I thought about how I might tie these in to photo Christmas cards this year.

After a nice lunch we came home and relaxed for a few hours.  My parents happened to be in town and took care of our children.  What a special treat it is to have family some what close.  My parents live about 3 hours away, which makes it really convenient: they aren’t here every day to interfere, but when they do come it’s usually a nice experience.

Tomorrow I’ll talk about two other really fun activities we did for our five year anniversary and how we were able to use the pictures we took as part of our photo Christmas card collage.
