Are photo Christmas cards really a collectors item? What do you think? I’ve heard that you can actually go to certain vendors online who sell great photo Christmas cards, possibly even vintage.

Photo Christmas cards can become historic collector items. Not just your family history or for your friends. There might be a market for your cards because they capture an era, they are particularly unique, or someone in them becomes famous.

If you had the photo Christmas card of a sports legend like Michael Jordan, how would that be?  Or what about a photo Christmas card of a movie star that is personally signed and dated?  These cards would probably sell on eBay or at an auction for as much as some collector baseball or basketball cards. Cards like these could be valuable to collectors or part of our national history.

If you think of it in this way, photo Christmas cards definitely become something worthy of putting in a family scrapbook or photo album to preserve. Even if they never have value like Michael Jordan’s rookie card, they can still share a warm place in our hearts.
