Photo Christmas Cards from the Family Reunion

This is a no brainer, but how many of us do this? Family Reunions are a great place to take pictures. Why not make some of those pictures in to photo Christmas cards?

Every 3 years our family goes to Door County, Wisconsin for a family reunion. We meet near Green Bay is early July and then head north to the best family vacation destination in the mid-west in my opinion. There are over 70 people that show up at a little time share near Kangaroo Lake. We play games, eat great barbeques, and take in lots of sun. It’s become a great family tradition, something we look forward too and talk about in between the 3 year gaps.

We’ve taken pictures before as a big group but never once have I seen any of us use these great memory makers as a photo Christmas card. Why not let all the friends and family know how important family is in our lives? Why not teach our children that family is one of the best things there is?

It seems like every 3 years so many changes occur. In 3 years, my first son will be starting his 1st year in school. In 3 years, my little girl will be running around and talking our legs off. In 3 years, many more people could be a part of our family. From marriages, to new babies, 3 years is a long time. A photo Christmas card is an excellent way to share the memories and watch the progression of our family. I definitely recommend you try implementing this idea at your next family reunion.
