One of the biggest highlights of our day at Lagoon was when Dad stepped up to win his kids a prize or two at the putt putt game.  Some call this “mini golf”.  As he measured the ground, Mom took a few quick shots for the addition to our photo Christmas cards.

For $5, Dad was given 8 golf balls to putt at different holes.  Each hole was a different length but with each length came a different prize.  The shortest hole won a small stuffed animal, which Dad took advantage of right away.  He then went for the medium length, which would earn his son or daughter a slightly bigger prize.  Unfortunately, he rimmed that hole but it just so happened to go in the longest hole. “I meant to do that,” he thought in his mind!

In order to win the biggest prize and flaunt his win on this years photo Christmas cards, Dad had to hit another long putt.  His third shot had the correct distance but was pushed a bit to the right.  His fourth shot was almost identical.  So, on his fifth shot, he decided to gain some momentum by knocking down a medium length putt.  Upon completing this task, he went back to the long putt.  Concentration, focus, and….WINNER!  He had holed the long putt for a big, orange Nemo Fish.
