Remember Your Three Legged Cat in Your Photo Christmas Cards
Don’t forget about your pets this year when you take pictures for your photo Christmas cards. Especially remember to include your six legged cat or three eyed frog. I know it sounds like something you’d only see on The Simpson’s, but it really does happen. For example…
Recently this little kitten, named Hex, was shown on MSNBC videos as having six legs. (Certainly puts a spin on the term “Siamese cat”). Although this fuzz ball isn’t of the Siamese breed, it really is technically a Siamese twin (conjoined twin). Some even refer to him as one and a half cats.
Apparently this happens when the embryo begins to split into two different embryos, creating an identical twin, but in this case it didn’t separate all the way. So you end up with two embryos fused together and they continue to grow that way. This even happens in humans. There is some amazing footage of this phenomenon on YouTube.com.
Anyhow, back to the cat. If cats are suppose to have 9 lives, does this mean Hex gets extra lives?
Pictures of critters like this on your photo Christmas cards would certainly create some attention.
