There’s no doubt that when at Sea World, you will certainly come up with some great ideas for your photo Christmas cards. You may even find your mind will be flooded with too many ideas. You can take pictures with the famous killer whale (orca) Shamu, take pictures of the shocked look on the kid’s face when the dolphins surprise them with a splash, or even feeding the seals.

I would have to say the best potential photo Christmas cards I have seen of Sea World yet, were from the wedding of Mary Seid in 1976. She actually convinced Sea World to let her have her wedding in one of the fish tanks that had a beautiful reef, many colorful fish and other sea critters. Sea World thought this would be great for publicity (and it was). They even went as far as placing their most dangerous shark in another tank (the lemon shark). One of the brides just about became very close with this shark when she slipped and her foot went into the tank where the lemon shark was. It immediately headed straight for her foot, but she was able to pull it out in time.

After the wedding ceremony, Sea World had a surprise for Mary. A pirate looking host held her on the gangplank as Shamu jumped up and gave her a big kiss with his big whale tongue. The second time Shamu kissed her, she kissed back (kissing his tongue). How many people can actually say they French kissed a whale? ;0)
