You can follow scrapbooking craze and add embellishments to your photo Christmas cards. Embellishments are stickers, ribbon, and other decorations. I’m a fan of the talking cloud, if you’re going for a humour card.

Go to your local scrapbook store to find the perfect embellishment for your card. Even large retailers like Target have begun to carry some. Add things that relate to your picture, or jazz up a picture taken during the year with Christmas-themed embellishments like bells, bows, and miniature candy canes.

One year I added some foam core and raised the picture slightly then added glitter. I know, getting very crafty!  But when it comes to your cards, you can be as creative as you want.

The good news is since embellishments are made to go on scrapbook pages they aren’t too bulky. They can fit inside your envelope, ready to be mailed this Christmas.
