Black and White pictures can make much more artistic photo Christmas cards. This simple strategy adds a timeless classic look to your card.

A black and white style can make your card look more dramatic too. Take the picture in black and white (digital cameras sometimes have a setting so you can take a photo in black and white). You can also change the picture in Photoshop or another photo editing software.  There are many styles and color combinations you can adjust with photo editing software.  Give it a try.  An ordinary picture can really become a classic and professional looking pose by just using a black and white photo or color combination.

I remember taking black and white pictures of my cousins while they played in the back yard of our home. The pictures are now family heirlooms and will always bring back those memorable times growing up in Idaho. The fun thing is, it’s almost impossible to tell what decade they were taken in.

Christmas borders can be used creatively too.  A creative border can frame your Christmas card photo and achieve the look you are going for.
