My spouse and I have now been married for five years! Wow how the time flies. Five years and two kids later, we sure have a lot to cherish. Photo Christmas cards have been one of the ways we can look at the progress we’ve made.
Our first year photo Christmas card was at the top of the second highest peak in our state, over 12,000 feet above sea level. We hiked the 5 hour summit during the night with head lamps, got lost twice, and saw what we think was either a moose, a mountain lion, or a black bear. It was hard to tell with just the reflection of our head lamps looking in to the unknown eyes in the distance. We didn’t stick around too long to find out either.
The second year took us to Sadona, Arizona to a nice, quaint time share condominium. This was a really fun trip. We did more hiking, visited the unique western shops, and ate at a fancy restaurant for free after enduring a time share upsell for 90 minutes. After returning home from the long hike the next day.
