What do you think about this? Is a wedding announcement of invitation a valid photo Christmas card? Let’s talk about it.

My sister-in-law is getting married around the Christmas season this year. She’s in the process of getting everything together: the wedding dress, the brides maids dresses, setting up the reception location and accessories - the list could go on and on.

My thought was, to save time, money and additional stress, why not combine this years photo Christmas cards with her wedding announcement. She would be saving so much and really be sharing such a memorable time with all her friends and family. Here are some of the specific savings she would have by implementing this idea:

• Mailing costs: she won’t have to mail a wedding invitation and a photo Christmas card to the same address two different times.
• Production costs: instead of paying for the production and printing of both pieces, she can combined them in to one fee.
• Time management: I’ve seen some great stuff about time management before. Think of all the unnecessary time she would spend addressing envelopes, putting on stamps, etc. if she had to do this double the time this year.

I’m sure there are many other things she could save on by combining her photo Christmas cards and wedding invitation together this year. Tomorrow I’ll talk more about ideas I’ve had about my sister-in-laws big wedding.
