What Toys Do You Have To Make Your Photo Christmas Cards With?
Continuing on from last Friday’s sock monkey photo Christmas cards blog, I thought that it would be fun to do what “the monkey sock lady” did. Instead of using sock monkeys, use just about any of your favorite toys or stuffed animals & puppets, for your photo Christmas cards. If you’ve got kids and a digital camera, this would be a fun activity to do with them. They can design their own photo Christmas cards. I know I would have loved to have done that with my Cabbage Patch Kids, Barbie Dolls or GI Joes. I even had a friend fascinated with Gremlins that could have done something unique with them. I can see it now…the Gremlins have taken over Santa’s village. (The cute fuzzy kind of Gremlin, not the ugly scary kind).
I think for next Christmas we’ll have to do a winter Christmas scene with all the army soldiers that are scattered throughout the house. I think we’ll have them rescuing Santa from an avalanche or getting him unstuck from a chimney. Or perhaps I’ll have them tying Santa down and holding him hostage like on the movie Night at the Museum.
Don’t limit yourself to just photo Christmas cards. There are other holidays to consider such as Valentines, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, 4th of July and even birthdays.
