Have you ever tied wildlife in to your photo Christmas cards?  If so, what did you do?  If not, why not?  A few years ago I went on a tour to the south east part of the United States.  One of the places we visited was the beautiful state of Virginia.  You how the saying goes, “Virginia is for lovers.”

One of the things we saw there that really stuck in my mind was the magnificent state bird - the Cardinal. Even though the cardinal is the state bird of Virginia, you don’t have to be from Virginia to enjoy the beauty of the bright red Cardinal against the bright white snow.

What about creating a Cardinal Christmas card?   They seem to be a favorite of some folks year after year. You can see Cardinals in snow covered trees, on mailboxes, fence posts, on door mats and even hanging around on snowmen.

For a great variety of photo Christmas cards, one should consider including a beautiful Virginia Cardinal in this years cards.
