The signficance of Christma Eve
Christmas Eve is mostly celebrated by Christians who like to
attend a candlelight service or midnight
mass to celebrate the birth of Christ (The reason for the season). It is rare
for Churches to have a service on Christmas day as that is considered by most
as a family day to open presents and if they are so inclined to have there own
way of celebrating the occasion.
Christmas Eve is also a huge day for retailers. So many last minute shoppers
make Christmas Eve a very big shopping day. Macy’s started the tradition of
being open until midnight on Christmas
Eve in 1867. Other retailers soon started following suit. Now many stores are
open until midnight on Christmas Eve
for those who haven’t been able to get their act together before then.
Christmas Eve is a little late to be buying Christmas cards until maybe you
want to send a New Year’s Card instead.

Concerns about time can be eliminated by having your cards personlized.
If you are not sending out greeting cards like those mentioned in my previous couple of posts (birthday cards, thank you cards, etc.) because you think you don’t have time, let me see if I can persuade you to think differently.
If you order and have cards printed up ahead of time with a verse or message you want to convey, you can have it printed up at that time with your name printed on them and even a company logo if you like. You can even have your return address printed on the back flap of the envelope so all you really have to do to send them out is address them and if you want to add a short personal note, you can do that and add your signature. If you really want to keep it simple, you can even have your signauture printed right inside your birthday card, thank you note or other business greeting card. That goes for Christmas cards as well.
If you plan ahead to try to keep in touch with your clients using business greeting cards, you can have them preprinted with a message that would be generic enough in nature to work for many situatons and that is a quick easy way to keep in touch and it looks like you have gone the extra mile and made an effort to nurture that relationship.

Sending Assorted Greeting Cards for Business works wonders to help build business relationships
Last week I discussed how important sending birthday cards and thank you cards can be to reinforce relationships. We offer these cards on our site. There are a number of other cards that would be good to keep in your arsenal ready for when you need them as well. We don’t carry these on our site and we don’t offer a catalog on our site for these but they are available and I would like to tell you about them here.
They are Anniversary cards, Congratulations, Get Well, Thinking of You, Sympathy, Welcome, some other Thank You cards as well as some assorted package of either assortments of all of the above or assorted birthday cards.
We do have a catalog available for all of the above and would be happy to send one to anyone who is in need of such items. Sending any or all of the above whenever appropriate cannot help but build rapport and good will with the recipient whether it be a client or employee. Just give us a call at 800-214-8990 or shoot us an email at info@designcrafters.com and we will gladly send you a full color cataloge with all the card, verse and ink color choices, prices, etc.
