If you are one of those many good intentioned people that simply ran out of time to get your photo Christmas cards done and sent out, don’t feel too bad. There’s still hope for you. Although it’s not very common, you can always send out photo Valentines cards to make up for it.

Ok, so maybe you’d be pushing it awfully close this year considering there’s only two more days left before Valentines Day, but at least you’ll be prepared for next year. Besides, there’s always Easter coming up too.

This time around you have a whole other theme to be creative with. So grab that digital camera, put on your creativity hat and have some fun!

An example of an extremely adorable photo Valentines card was of a real newborn “cupid” curled up sleeping like an angle on a nest of pink, white and red satin. The baby was dressed in a toga, included the angelic wings and was lightly grasping a bow and arrow. There must have been some kind of trick photography because the soft feathered wings actually looked like they were really part of the baby. The picture served as a photo Valentines card as well as the birth announcement. That’s a good way of accomplishing two things at once.
