With Valentines Day on the horizon I figured this story would be a good one to put you in a loving mood.

Have you ever fallen in love with the mailman? Has the mailman ever fallen in love with you? No this isn’t going where you think it is ;0)

I guess I’d better be politically correct and say “mailperson”. In this love story however, it was a mailman.

Some of us are lucky enough to have kind and social mail-people. Well after seventeen years of the having the same mailperson you’re bound to have formed some kind of friendship with your mail-person, as was the case with Patti and Jeff. Through the years they maintained their casual small talk relationship until one day Patti went to tell Jeff (her mailman) that she was going to move because she and her husband were getting a divorce. Coincidently Jeff had recently separated from his spouse as well. Both needing a friend to talk to, they went out for drinks that night. That turned into a few more dates which then turned into a proposal. 

What’s interesting about this story is that if Patti had not been prompted to walk outside that day and tell Jeff she was moving, they would not be together this day, and this story would not have been written.
