So what do you do if you want that perfect photo Christmas card with that Christmas cozy winter feeling but you live in a tropical climate where snow would be a phenomenon? Build a sand snowman of course. That’s just one of the clever photo Christmas card pictures I came across just recently.

This first picture I saw was of a family on the beach at sunset posing with the snowman made of sand. I had to do a double take because the snowman for a brief moment really looked like one made of snow. I thought for a second “how did they get that snowman not to melt?” I had visions of them hauling their pre-made snowman in a freezer truck, plopping it on the sand and taking that picture real fast. It was quite a beautiful picture with the ocean in the background.

Another beach picture used for photo Christmas cards was of siblings on a little snow sleigh on a white sand beach. The sand could have easily passed as snow. The only thing that really gave it away was the sand grass on the sand dunes around the kids.
